How to specify
Hotels are a traffic-and-turnaround problem: hundreds of rooms, tight renovation windows, guests who never read care labels. Specify for whole-life cost, not unit price.
Recommended materials & thickness

| Granite | 20 mm | Lobby floors and stairs — the highest traffic durability per dollar. |
| Tiles | 600×1200 mm / 9 mm | Guest bathrooms: zero sealing and consistent supply across 100+ keys. |
| Marble | 18–20 mm | Honed marble for reception desks and lift lobbies where guests get close to the surface. |
| Sintered Stone | 12 mm | Bar and restaurant tops: heat, wine and citrus without sealing. |
Design & installation notes
- Pack renovation materials room-by-room so floors can close one at a time while the hotel stays open.
- Slip rating matters more than finish: R10 minimum in wet zones, R11 for shower floors.
- Hold 2–3% spare stock per SKU — discontinued tiles are the classic five-year problem.
Care
- Neutral-pH cleaners only on marble and granite; acid toilet cleaners will etch them permanently.
